SW1
SW1 Magazine
From the Editor, Tina Kumar
“The reason I wanted to create a British magazine for young people in 2021 in a time of a global pandemic and amidst the Black Lives Movement is so that young people can have a safe space to engage with. We all have an array of views and perspectives on worldly matters yet the media doesn’t always portray those in a way where we feel heard. Amongst everything that’s happening in the world SW1 magazine aims to cover politics through the eyes of young people. To make our voices known to the world about the things we care about. On the other hand, SW1 can be fun and light to take your mind off things you don’t want to think about. SW1 is about all things London, politics and fun. You will have the opportunity to learn and fill your days reading about interesting topics on arts, music, books, lifestyle, politics, culture, travel, fashion, beauty and much more. I hope you enjoy reading SW1 magazine as much as I enjoy creating it for you.” Tina Kumar, Founder and Editor of SW1 Magazine London.
